WARNER, Okla. -- Freshman Josey Carney scored led NOC Tonkawa with 22 points in a 67-58 loss to Connors in Warner on Saturday.

Saturday's loss dropped NOC (5-14) to 0-6 in league while Connors (4-13) improved to 1-5.

Dani Milliner added 18 for the Lady Mavs while Amber Brazendale added 10.  Viola Tadja led the Lady Mavs with 13 rebounds.  Carney added nine rebounds and five steals.

NOC trailed the Cowgirls 35-22 at half and while outscoring Connors 36-32 in the second half it was not enough.

NOC shot 27% from the floor and 24% from 3-point range.  The Lady Mavs shot 75% from the line (12-16).

The Lady Mavs host Murray State at 5:30 p.m. Monday night at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.
