NOC Tonkawa dropped two to #12 Murray State on Saturday at Mavericks Field.

The Mavs (21-25) fell to 7-17 in conference while the Aggies (37-11) improved to 19-5 in conference.

In Game 1, the Mavs held a 3-2 lead until the 7th when the Aggies scored two runs to beat the Mavs 4-3.

NOC scored two runs in the first when Bodee Mausser doubled home Preston Gajewski and then later scored on an error giving the Mavs an early 2-0 lead.

After Murray tied the score at 2-2, the Mavs took the lead in the 6th when Jacob Bennett doubled home Aidan LeMasters and the Mavs led 3-2.

The Aggies then scored two in the 7th and held the Mavs for a 4-3 win.

Jacob Bennett had two hits for the Mavs.

Barrett Kasprowicz and Cade Dickinson worked for the Mavs allowing a combined four runs on 10 hits.

In Game 2, the Mavs were outhit 11-8 and lost 10-2 to Murray State.

Bennett had three hits for the Mavs including a run scored and stolen base.

Enrique Munir Diaz and Easton John drove in runs for NOC Tonkawa.

Jakeb Koop, Kolson Edge, Corey Jordan, and Kase Lindly worked for the Mavs.

What's Next:  The Mavs face South Arkansas College on Friday, May 1 at 2 p.m./6 p.m. in the NJCAA Region 2 Crossover Series.
