PRATT, Kansas –  The NOC Maverick Men's Wrestling Team finished the South Central District Tournament in Pratt, Kansas, in 7^th place and qualified seven wrestlers for the National Tournament March 6-7 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Qualifiers include Jimmy Swenson (125 pounds),  John Marriott (133), Jaiden Johnson (157), Waleed Khairi (165), Keaton Belsha (184), Tyzel Zachry (197), and Christian Clark (285).

"Guys battled this weekend and are extremely happy with the effort," said coach Bryan Kenney.  "We ended up with seven guys qualifying for the National Tourney and finished 7th in the Region.  In year one, we only qualified two and placed 11th. The growth and buy in of what we are building is impressive.  We still have alot of work to do before we head to Nationals the first weekend in March."
