NOC Tonkawa opened at home Saturday losing to #19 Butler (KS) 92-49 at the Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.

The Lady Mavs were led by Kyra Criss who scored 11 off the Lady Mavs bench.

NOC shot just 34% from the floor and 33% from 3-point range.

Viola Tadja led the team with eight rebounds while Josey Carney added five.  Jasia Malolo added three assists.

"We didn't shoot well and didn't take care of the ball," said coach Greg Krause.  "We want to get more shot attempts which ties directly to cutting down on turnovers."

NOC hosts Cowley (KS) at 5 p.m. Monday night at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.
