SHAWNEE, Okla. -- The NOC Mavs ended their season Thursday against NEO 6-3 in the NJCAA South Central District Tournament.

The Mavs ended their season at 30-27.

Trailing the Norse 3-0, the Mavs answered with single runs in the 3rd and 4th innings.

In the 3rd, Hailey Schutz walked and later scored on a Jadison Ackerman ground out.

NOC cut the lead to 3-2 in the 4th when Rainey King scored on a single by Kailey Rich.

NEO then scored three in the 6th to take a 6-2 lead.

The Mavs battled back with one run in the 7th as Schutz scored her second run of the day on a bunt by Ackerman but the Mavs would get no closer than 6-3.

Adisyn Peetoom (14-12) allowed three earned runs in 6.1 innings of work.  Kennedy Zook worked the final .2 of an inning.
