RED ROCK, Okla. --  NOC Tonkawa dropped two game to Connors at Frontier High School 11-7 and 12-5 on Thursday.

The Mavs (26-18) fell to 3-11 in league while Connors (20-12) improved to 6-6 in conference.

In Game 1, Connors scored seven runs in the 7th to erase a 7-4 NOC lead giving the Cowgirls an 11-7 win.

Paiton Hedges popped her 15th of the season, a grand slam in the 2nd inning.  Jadison Ackerman had three hits while Riley Westmoreland, Breeanna Gomez, and Hedges had two hits each.

Adisyn Peetoom and Kaidince Calvert worked in the circle allowing 11 runs on 13 hits, strking out seven.

The Mavs led 7-1 after two innings.  

In Game 2, the Mavs fell to the Cowgirls 12-5.

Ackerman head another two hits for the Mavs while Westmoreland, Ackerman, Gomez, and Braxten Newton had runs batted in. 

Kaidince Calvert and Kennedy Zook worked in the circle for the Mavs.

Thursday's game was moved to Frontier due to wet grounds in Tonkawa.

What's Next:  The Mavs host Eastern in a conference doubleheader Saturday at 2 p.m./4 p.m.
