NOC Tonkawa dropped a pair of conference games to Rose State on Thursday 9-2 and 5-1.
The Mavs (24-16) fell to 1-9 in conference while Rose State (21-13) improved to 6-4 in league play.
In the first game, the Mavs were outhit 21-6 and lost 9-2.
Rose built an 8-0 lead with the Mavs scoring two runs in the 5th.
Breeanna Gomez homered to get the Mavs on the board and then Jadison Ackerman's double scored Braxten Newton with NOC's second run.
Adisyn Peetoom and Kaidince Calvert worked in the circle for the Mavs.
In Game 2, the Mavs had five hits led by Madyson Austin's two hits. Gomez, Charley Carson, and Kailey Rich had one hit each.
Angel Franklin (6-3) worked all seven innings allowing two earned runs on nine hits.
