POTEAU, Oklahoma --  Mavs softball won two at the Carl Albert Festival Saturday with a 10-2 win over Southwest Tennessee and a 15-1 win over Carl Albert.

The Mavs won all four games at the festival and have now won seven straight.

In Game 1, the Mavs exploded for seven runs in the 2nd inning and beat Southwest Tennessee 10-2.

Jadison Ackerman had three hits while Breeanna Gomez, Paiton Hedges, and Caitlin Cooper had two hits each.

Kaidince Calvert (5-1) did the rest allowing two runs and five hits over six innings.

In Game 2, it was more of the same from the Maverick power bats.

Cooper homered twice with eight runs batted in and Hedges added one in a 16 hit attack.

Ackerman had three doubles, Gomez and Cooper had three hits each.  Hedges and Brooklyn Ray had two hits each.

Adisyn Peetoom (5-2) allowed one run and six hits over five innings earning the win.

What's Next:  The Mavs (11-3) are at the Branson Showtime Classic Feb. 27-28.
