WILBURTON, Okla. --  Jarvis Palmer led NOC Tonkawa with 26 points in an 85-78 loss at Eastern Saturday in Wilburton.

DJ Howell added 12 points and Jadon Awe 11.  Awe added 11 rebounds for the Mavs.  MJ Miller had seven rebounds and seven assists for NOC.

NOC trailed the Mountaineers 37-24 at half and outscored Eastern 54-48 in the second half but it wasn't enough.

The Mavs (13-10) fell to 3-6 in league while Eastern (16-6) improved to 5-3 in conference.

What's Next:  The Mavs are at Western Monday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m.
