NOC led Murray State 45-43 at half but an early second half run propelled the Aggies to a 94-83 win over the Mavs Monday night at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.
NOC Tonkawa (12-9) are 2-5 in conference while Murray State (15-5) improved to 4-2.
Jaydon Awe led the Mavs with 18 while MJ Miller and Xon Williams added 14 each. Caison Cole also reached double fugures with 13.
In a see saw first half, the Mavs took a 45-43 lead on an Awe dunk, assisted by Miller with :02 left in the half.
Murray State then went on a 15-2 run to give the Aggies a 58-47 lead.
The Mavs rallied to within 60-53 on a Williams' free throw but MSC went on another run to take a 76-55 lead. The Mavs crept to within 11 at the finish 94-83.
The Mavs are at NEO Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
