DENNISON, Texas --  Jarvis Palmer led the NOC Mavs with 18 points in an 81-65 road win at Grayson (TX) on Saturday in Dennison, Texas.

Ryan Rodriguez added 14 while Xon Williams had 13 from the Maverick bench.  M.J. Miller and Jaydon Awe had 10 each for NOC.

Awe led the Mavs with six rebounds while Miller had eight assists.

NOC build a 39-26 halftine lead and built the lead to as many as 20 in the second half.

"It always feels good to go into Christmas break with a win," said coach Brandon Gossett.  "Our defense continues to evolve and grow and we are playing more and more as a team every game. Excited to get back to work in Janurary and attack the conference season."

The Mavs (9-4) will next be in action on Jan. 2 against Trotter Prep.
