NOC improved to 8-4 Tuesday night with a 91-69 win over Southwest Christian JV at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.

Xon Williams led the Mavs with 19 points while Ryan Rodriguez added 14, and Jordan Reed 10.

Tuesday's game was never in doubt as the Mavs raced out to a 51-28 halftime lead and never looked back.

"It was great to see everyone in the scoring column," said coach Brandon Gossett.  "It was a true team effort.  We had a few guys out with injuries (MJ Miller, Dorian Johnson, and Caison Cole) but that allowed other guys to step up and show what they could do."

Bortey led the Mavs with eight rebounds while James Murray and DJ Howell had four assists each.

The Mavs are at Grayson (TX) on Saturday for their final game of the fall semester.
