EL DORADO, Arkansas --  The NOC Mavs rallied late from a 6-0 deficit but fell to #20 South Ark 6-3 Thursday in the Region 2 Crossover Series.

NOC trailed the Stars 6-0 but rallied late as Jacob Bennett walked and Rhett Leu was hit by a pitch.  Noah Olivera then walked to load the bases with no out.

With one out, Jack Blevins walked scoring Bennett and NOC trailed 6-1.

Preston Gajewski then reached on an error scoring Leu and the Mavs trailed 6-2.

With two outs, Aidan LeMasters walked scoring Olivera and the Mavs cut the lead to 6-3 and had the tying runs on base.

Enrique Diaz Munir then grounded out to end the game.

The Mavs had three hits, a double by LeMasters and singles by Bennett and Bodee Mausser.

Collin Berry worked seven innings allowing three earned runs on eight hits.  Cade Dickinson worked a hitless 8th inning for the Mavs.

What's Next:  The Mavs (21-26) face South Ark on Friday at 11 a.m./2 p.m. and must win both to advance to the Region 2 TournamentMay 7-10 in Enid.
