TISHOMINGO, Okla. --  NOC Tonkawa dropped two to #12 Murray State on Thursday at Tishomingo.

The Mavs (21-23) fell to 7-15 while the Aggies (35-11) improved to 17-5.

In Game 1, the Mavs were outhit 8-2 and lost 13-2 to the Aggies.

Braden Hernandez hit his 6th home run, a two-run shot scoring Jacob Bennett for the two Mavs runs in the 5th inning.

Collin Berry, Caden Orr, and Cade Dickinson worked on the mound for the Mavs.

In Game 2, the Mavs were outhit 11-6 and fell 13-3.

Jacob Bennett hit his 7th home run for the Mavs, a solo shot.  Preston Gajewski had two hits including a triple, two runs scored, and a stolen base.

Aidan LeMasters added a double for the Mavs.

Tristen Russell, Brady Broeckel, Austin Wylie, and Max Coughlin worked for the Mavs on the mound.

What's Next:  The Mavs host Murray on Saturday at 1 p.m./3:30 p.m.   Saturday will be sophomore day for the Mavs.
