ENID, Okla. -- Bodee Mausser hit three home runs in a doubleheader split for the Mavs at NOC Enid.
The Mavs (13-15) won the first game 14-3 and dropped the nightcap 15-6.
The Mavs are 1-7 in conference play.
In Game 1, the Mavs used three home runs to hammer NOC Enid 14-3.
Bodee Mausser, Easton John, and Noah Olivera homered for the Mavs while Preston Gajewski, John, Jacob Bennett, and Enrique Minir Diaz had two hits each.
John had four rbi's while Diaz and Bennett had three runs driven in each.
The Mavs scored in five of the six innings played.
Tristen Russell (1-0) earned the win working 3.1 scoreless innings allowing just two hits and striking out three.
In Game 2, Mausser hit two home runs in a 15-6 loss to the Jets.
John added two hits while Gajewski, Mausser, and Jack Blevins drove in two runs each.
Jakeb Koop (2-3) started for the Mavs with Max Coughlin, Rhett Spiers, Corey Jordan, Caden Orr, Kolson Edge, Collin Berry, and Kase Lindly working from the pen.
