NOC Tonkawa rallied in Game 1 and then routed Northeast Iowa Saturday at Maverick Field.

The Mavs were 8-6 winners in Game 1 and 12-1 in Game 2.

In Game 1, the Mavs trailed 5-1 before rallying for four runs in the 5th and two in the 6th to win 8-6.

Aidan LeMasters had three hits including two doubles and three runs scored.  Easton John had two hits including a home run.  Bodee Mausser and Enrique Munir Diaz had two hits each, Mausser had two runs batted in.

Rhett Spiers (1-0) earned the win in relief working two innings of one run relief.  Austin Wylie earned the save for the Mavs with a perfect 7th.

The Mavs stole 12 bases with Mausser stealing six.

In Game 2, it was all Mavs as NOC broke a scoreless tie with 12 runs over the final three innings.

Decker Davis had two hits and four runs batted in while Braden Hernandez had three runs batted in.

Jakeb Koop (2-1) earned the win working four scoreless innings allowing two hits and striking out four.  

The Mavs stole nine bases led by Hernandez with three steals and LeMasters with two.

What's Next: The Mavs (10-8) were set to host NICC for two games on Sunday.
