DALLAS, Texas --  NOC split a doubleheader at Dallas Eastfield Friday, winning the first game 2-0 and dropping the nightcap 8-4.

In Game 1, Tres Lorah tossed a three hit shut out while Easton John and Braden Hernandez had rbi's in a 2-0 win at Dallas Eastfield Friday.

Lorah struck out seven and walked no one, throwing 100 pitches.

In the 1st inning, John's bases loaded walk scored Jacob Bennett to give NOC a 1-0 lead.  In the 3rd, Hernandez tripled home Enrique Munir Diaz giving NOC a 2-0 lead.

That's all Lorah (2-0) would need against Eastfield.

In Game 2, Robert Evans homered and drove in two in an 8-4 loss to Eastfield.

Evans and Aidan LeMasters had two hits each, Kolbe Mills has two runs batted in for NOC.

Cade Dickinson (0-1) started for the Mavs with Barrett Kasprowicz and Austin Wylie working in relief.

What's Next:  The Mavs (6-4) were set to face Eastfield in two games on Saturday.
