Lady Mavs lose to Connors 48-44

WARNER, Oklahoma --  Northern Oklahoma College dropped their second conference game of the season Thursday night 48-44 to Connors State College in Warner.

The Lady Mavs lost 48-44 while the Maverick men fell 68-62.

The Lady Mavs lost their third straight 48-44 to Connors State College at Warner Thursday night.

NOC (3-6) fell to 0-2 in conference play.  Connors (8-2) improved to 1-1 in conference play.

"We had some carryover from the game Tuesday against Seminole (double overtime loss)," said head coach Greg Krause.  "We just didn't have the energy that you need to win on the road.  We'll need great energy on Sunday when we host New Mexico (ranked #1)."

Tahanee Bennell led the Lady Mavs with 14 while Taylar Watkins added 10.  Bennell added 11 rebounds for the Lady Mavs.
